Resumen
Digital planning for clinical crown lengthening should integrate extraoral facial scans, intraoral scans, and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to enable the precise visualization of anatomic landmarks. This multimodal approach improves the assessment of the gingival margin, bone crest, and facial symmetry, allowing for accurate and predictable soft and hard tissue management. The integration of these digital records facilitates the digital design and fabrication of custom surgical guides and supports efficient workflows, especially in esthetically demanding situations such as altered passive eruption. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
